I have always been inspired by the world around me. The line of things and the constant flow in nature fascinates me, whether it be a figure or seascape. Finding a perfect landscape and trying to capture an image is simply the start of the process of creation. The design, mood and emotion of a place or person takes over. There are so many things to think about when trying to capture a person or place on canvas: the aim is to try and maintain a balance in composition, while attempting to capture the essence of the sitter or the landscape before me. This experience is different every time and each project takes on its own personality.
