Biography:
| Born in Puerto Rico, Karla took several courses of Arts at the Puerto Rican League of Art, Puerto Rico Institute of Culture and Puerto Rico School of Art. In 1996, Karla became one of the youngest artisans to join the Puerto Rico Development Company Program. After her certification, she was admitted at the PR Tourism Company and PR Institute of Culture. She was recognized and awarded by PRIDCO and Bacardi Corp. as "Young Artisan of the Year 2008" at the Annual Bacardi Fair in Puerto Rico. Karla also paticipated in several National and International Fairs since her certification as artisan. In 2007, the Francisco Oller Museum of Art invited her to organize her first Art Exhibition called "Naturaleza Mística" (Mystic Nature). |
