|Being an artist is my way of life.
Printmaking helps me find balance and order.
It has given me the opportunity to witness the relationship between our daily living and creating.
All of my themes involve nature and light.
There are many different colors in nature that create beautiful forms and hues.
I have focused closely on the movements of nature, and try to express that through my complicated, but yet original techniques.
Blending various forms of techniques has allowed my work format and scale to expand.
The base Plate is created by a combination of Etching and Mix Media: paper, aluminum foil, and cloth, which are then bonded with an acrylic medium.
Metal sand is then applied to create the texture.
The final touches of juxtaposition of details, with flats and atmospheric effects are then added by using the Viscosity technique.
I have mastered color viscosity printing to create an Aluminum Matrix style, which helps me cross between paintings and sculptures.
When making art I attempt to find what makes me an individual.
I seek this sense of balance in my art as in my life.
Similar to the way I would like to be fluid in my creative life.
I wish to keep evolving, staying true to my culture and family background.
