Biography:
| My name is John Anaba, or if you go by my work you can call me "Thugstyle". I've been drawing since I was about 5 or 6 years old when my mum encouraged me to draw. I never expected that it would be something that would eventually become a passion for me. As the years went by, i continued to draw, mostly from comic books, and I kept getting better responses from people. This encouraged me to challenge myself and I eventually began drawing portraits from people's pictures and I believe this is when I began to take my art to the next level. My subject matter varies from early comic book stuff to portraits, to abstract, to traditional/cultural work, right down to clothing designs. I am completely self-taught apart from basic art lessons I took in grade school. Eventually, I hope to do something productive with my art or my designs depending on which picks up first. In the meantime, I hope the people who view my portfolio enjoy it and I would be grateful for your comments. so just sit back and enjoy!! |
