|As a child, I instantly developed a passion for drawing and writing as my imagination soared to outrageous heights, as it still does. In high school, I won many awards for my art and writing including first place in several art categories, a scholarship for best English student of the year, and succeeded in publishing a poem and a short story in two separate books directly following high school graduation.
I immediately went on to study Graphic Design and Multimedia at Virginia Marti College of Art and Design in Cleveland, Ohio where I eventually moved to. I won a Who's Who Among American College Students award, was featured in an article of A.R.T.(Artist Review Today) Magazine, and received a spotlight on Channel 8's "Kickin' It with Kenny" where I drew a caricature of the anchorman Kenny Crumpton. My internship was as a concept artist and art department intern on location of two local short films, "Five Minutes", and "The Messenger." I graduated with high honors in 2006 with an Associates Degree of Graphic Design and Applied Business.
I currently reside in Avon, Ohio and am a freelance graphic designer who specializes in websites, logos, fine art portraits and works with several area companies in developing their corporate identity and promoting their cause. I have since completed four novels and enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle. An avid runner, my other interests include drawing, painting, sewing, scrapbooking, history and am greatly influenced by Asian and European culture in my designs and color palettes.
