| There is nothing much to explain about my paintings -they are what they appear to be. There is nothing much to explain about myself either- Scoop Brancisco does not exist as an actual person. I wish the audience to view my paintings as paintings -only as paintings- face to face, without any prejudice, suspicion, or consideration about the painter. I wish the audience to have two simple questions when they encounter my paintings: "Are they interesting?" and "Do I like them or not?" My paintings shall be judged by such basic human instinct. My paintings shall not require any specific knowledge to be fully understood. Only do I hope the audiences to find the media of painting quite interesting. Only do I hope the audiences to find the media of painting closer to their daily lives. |
