Biography: My name is Alyssa and all my life I have loved and been inspired by art. It wasn't until mid-high school that I really found my path; graphic design. I worked in a portrait studio through my junior and senior year and found that my eye for art meshed nicely with my people-friendly attitude. I grew as an artists and as an entrepreneur; learning new techniques about photography, people, and business. I attended Brevard Community College during my senior year of high school studying for an AS in Graphics Technology. At which I decided to open my own photography and graphic design business called ABG DZYNS & Photography. I freelanced and promoted my own business while attending school for two years.I also worked part time at Staples Copy and Print Center gaining the knowledge I craved about printing, formatting, wide format printing, design services and much more. GSC International Inc., a furniture manufacturer, then hired me to be their graphic designer, where I worked full-time creating a company identity that would uniform their services and put them on the web. I created a two disc digital portfolio showcasing the main products plus detailed photography of features for clients such as Target Stores, Amazon, Sam's Club, and other international and independent furniture retailers. The owners decided to relocate their home office and family at the end of 2007 and moved the company out of state. I am currently engaged and planning a wedding that will take place in January of 2009. I am still thriving in my freelance photography and graphic design business and have plans to open studios in Florida in the future. I am looking for a fun and aspiring career to help me get to my goals for my future and family.
