My Art is still evolving after so many years of painting. I believe that my work needs to not only reflect the time and society in which I live, it is also influenced by my personal experiences and feelings. With my years of traveling the world and living in Paris, my Art has a unique flavor that seems to reach people who view it. I try to pass on my passion for Art to my students. Please feel free to view my art work on my personal web site and contact me with any questions or comments, or to purchase any pieces that you see there. You may also inquire about my classes.
Biography: I was always interested in the Arts since I was a small child, drawing instead of playing with dolls. I also studied Drama at a young age. I went back to school after having my two children to study Art. I majored in painting and found my greatest passion that has only intensified with more exposure and learning. I opened my own school of Art in the early 80's called The Magic of Art. In 1986 I followed my dream by going to live in Paris, France where I taught and painted. I have since gone to Europe every year and always return to Paris. My work is very much influenced by, of course, Art History, my travels and what I see in the world. I have been most touched by living in and visiting Europe and other countries. Seeing the people in Haiiti and Morroco, and the condition of women and children in those countries, Africa, and here at home stays with me. If I have to give it a name, I would describe my Art as Abstract Expressionistic.
