Biography: I'll be honest. The only consideration I've ever given to Art as a career has been a passing and compulsive one. It's always been a hobby- no, more than a hobby, a passion- of mine and I can't remember a time when I didn't sketch quick doodles in the margins of my notebook paper. I've always felt comfortable with a mess of modeling clay in my hand, and even today I find it damn near impossible to see a square piece of paper without thinking what sort of origami model I could fold it into. I guess I've been an artist, really, my whole life- but I'm not so conceited that I see myself as an experienced one. I've had no formal training, and I know that I would benefit from it, but art never seemed to be a viable career option. I always thought that a job was a thing you did because you had to, not because you wanted to. A responsibility assigned to you by necessity. I think maybe, I'm starting to see that I've been wrong.
